What Types of Exercise Reduce Dementia Risk?

Recently published studies have continued to link physical activity to reduced risk of dementia. In one study, “participants who engaged in regular, vigorous activity, such as playing sports or working out, the risk of developing dementia was reduced by 35 percent.

Surprisingly, people who reported regularly completing household chores also experienced a significant benefit; they had a 21 percent lower risk.” All in all, daily activity of any kind was found to be more beneficial than not.
